Jess Mah launched her first six-figure business in middle school and never looked back. She’s been part of the founding team of more than ten companies, many valued in the hundreds of millions, and is now the founder of Mahway.

At Mahway, Jess works closely with her team of operators to help startups scale across fintech, biotech, AI, and litigation finance. She sits on multiple startup boards and brings deep operational, technical, and strategic experience to every venture she supports.

Jess studied Computer Science at U.C. Berkeley and has been recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30, Inc. Magazine, and Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business. She made history as the youngest woman accepted into Y Combinator in 2010, the youngest to join YPO in 2013, and the youngest graduate of Harvard Business School’s Presidents’ Program in 2024.

But titles only tell part of her story.

Jess is known for her transparency, decisive leadership, and willingness to share the real journey — the wins, the pivots, and the messy middle that comes with building something meaningful.

She splits her time between San Francisco and New York, surrounded by great people, ambitious ideas, and her puppy.
